PlayStation Plus’ Monthly Games for August have been revealed. 

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August. Starting from 5 August, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2 from the service. Sony is also dropping unique PlayStation avatars to celebrate PlayStation Plus’ 15th anniversary. 

All of PlayStation Plus’ Monthly Games for August

PlayStation Plus subscribers can now look forward to getting their hands on three new Monthly Games this August. Here are all the games they can access starting from 5 August:

  • Lies of P on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
  • DayZ on PlayStation 4
  • My Hero One’s Justice 2 on PlayStation 4

Lies of P is a Souls-like game that draws inspiration from a classic tale: the Adventures of Pinocchio. In a beautifully macabre world rendered with Belle Epoque visuals, players are tasked with journeying to Krat to look for Mr. Geppetto as Pinocchio himself. An expansion entitled Overture was recently released for the game, but players will have to fork over extra to play it. 

DayZ is a multiplayer survival game that has up to 60 players fight to survive in a zombie apocalypse. If they die, they’ll have to start from scratch–so scavenging for supplies and picking their fights is essential to survive. 

Fans of My Hero Academia will also be able to check out the 3D arena fighter My Hero One’s Justice 2, which pits the franchise’s most popular characters against one another in fast-paced battles. Players will be able to make full use of these heroes’ Quirks in big arenas and story missions inspired by the manga and anime. 

More stuff is coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in August

PlayStation Plus is also continuing its 15th anniversary celebrations with an additional set of themed 15th Anniversary Avatars for players to equip. These avatars will be released on 5 August, themed after games like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal.
