Battlefield 6 drops first trailer for action-packed campaign
Electronic Arts and developer Battlefield Studios have dropped a reveal trailer for Battlefield 6, which takes the franchise to yet another massive war set in the near future. The trailer focuses on Battlefield 6’s main story campaign, which seems to hinge on the actions of a militaristic entity named Pax Armada.
In the trailer, we see the President of the United States decry a “monstrous unprovoked attack” seemingly from Pax Armada, which has left no country safe. The trailer then cuts to footage of Brooklyn Bridge in New York City getting decimated by warfare, along with plenty of vehicles like tanks and jets leaving their mark on the battlefield.
The trailer also cut to a few unknown faces from Battlefield 6’s main campaign, potentially teasing its villainous new enemy faction. What the trailer didn’t show was any first-person shooter gameplay, or details on its various multiplayer modes. Leaks have surfaced from several Battlefield Labs closed tests for the game over the last few months, but nothing regarding the game’s multiplayer modes has been officially confirmed on EA’s part.
Electronic Arts has promised a full multiplayer reveal for Battlefield 6 is coming on 31 July, 2025.
