Three days into the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 1 Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming lock in spots for the playoffs. Azure Ray is the first team out.

PGL Wallachia Season 1 kicked off on Friday with the modified Swiss-system Group stage featuring 16 teams. The entire portion will span five competitive days, but to no one's surprise Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming have already locked themselves into the playoffs.

ESL One Birmingham 2024 represented the third tournament victory claimed by Team Falcons this year, and the fourth grand finals that they fought in. Xtreme Gaming defeated Team Falcons 3-1 in the grand final of Elite League to claim the title.

There are still two more days of groups to be played. Half of the teams will be eliminated by the end. So far Team Spirit is barely hanging on by a thread, struggling as they have been this season. Shopify Rebellion with their two Nigma Galaxy players are still fighting. Team Secret and Team Liquid are looking in much trouble if they don't pull things together soon.

And Azure Ray is the first to be officially eliminated. The Chinese team went 0:3 in their series – losing to MOUZ, Nouns, and iG. Azure Ray replaced Blacklist International when the SEA team was unable to secure visas for the team.
