South America Division I regional league for the Spring Tour has already found its two teams heading to the ESL One Berlin Major.

Nothing really changed at the top of the rankings in South America compared to the first Tour of the Dota Pro Circuit.  Evil Geniuses and beastcoast continued to dominate the region and claim their spots at the second Major of the year uncontested.

Both teams secured their presence in Berlin on the third and final week of Spring Tour regional leagues with a spotless 6-0 series score.

ESL One Berlin Major is set to unfold April 26 - May 7 with $500,000 and 2,700 DPC points on the line and it represents a new opportunity for EG and beastcoast to push for a new record for the SA region and place above the top 6.

At Lima Major, the first Major of the year, EG placed top 6 by eliminating their regional foes in the first round of the lower bracket, thus beastcoast ended their Major run just in the 9th-12th place.

Courtesy of their performance so far in this year’s DPC, Evil Geniuses are currently in third place in the DPC rankings with 660 points under their belt and beastcoast sit in the 5th place with 540 points. However, the current placement does not include the points earned in the Spring Tour regional league as the two teams are yet to play their very last match in the league schedule.

EG and bc will decide which one finishes first and which one drops to the second place in the SA division I league on April 1, when they will close the Spring Tour regional league schedule with their, much-anticipated derby.
