Four EU teams - Vega, Team Spirit, EPG, Prodota Gaming are fighting it out in the Summit 7 pre-qualifiers starting today.

Over the course of two game days, four teams - Prodota Gaming, Elements Pro Gaming, Vega Squadron and Team Spirit will compete for the last two spots in the Summit 7 EU regional qualifiers. The teams will lock horns in a double bracket playoffs.

Kicking off the mini event will be Vega Squadron vs Elements Pro, while Team Spirit and Prodota Gaming battle it out - starting at 13:00 CEST. The first round of matches are best-of-one series, with the remaining matches being best-of-three.

Upper Bracket finals and lower bracket round 1 will follow immediately after at 14:00 CEST. One team will secure their spot, one team will be eliminated. The final team will be determined after the lower bracket finals to take place tomorrow, on May 6th.

Summit 7

Announced to take place once again in the Los Angeles area, The Summit 7 LAN playoffs will take place just a few weeks before The International 7, from June 14 to 18. Eight teams - invited and qualified- will be competing for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool. 

So far, Virtus.Pro and VGJ have been the only confirmed teams while Clutch Gamers seized the qualifier spot for SEA.
