Chinese and SEA first batch of Kiev open qualifiers is over

The first open qualifier session for China and Southeast Asia ended with Vici Gaming and ex-Warriors Gaming Unity claiming their spots into the Kiev regionals.
For the ex-Warrior Gaming Unity boys, now Team Bazaar, this is the second time in a row they are grinding a Major presence via open qualifiers. Last year they were the first team to advance from open qualifiers to the Boston Major main event, where they placed top eight. Despite their results from Boston, the team made a player change after the roster lock, bringing in Benjamin 'Ben' Yi Cheon for the offlane spot left free by Chua 'KaNG' Soon Khong. This is how they got into the open qualifiers for the Kiev Major in the first place.
This Major’s open qualifiers bracket was no obstacle for the by now experienced Malaysian team who are once again on the right path for a second Major appearance. There will be two teams qualifying for the Kiev Major from SEA regionals, and despite the fact that Faceless and TNC are the big favorites to take those two spots, Bazaar might very-well be the team to deliver an upset.
In the first batch of Chinese open qualifiers Vici Gaming emerged as sole survivors after two hours of battle in the grand finals held against EHOME.Keen. VG opened the series with a strong performance in game one, where they utilized the Legion Commander - Earth Spirit ganking duo at its maximum potential. However, EHOME.Keen fought hard in the second game of the series to force VG to a decisive match after a 66 minute long battle. Game three was another bloodbath in which VG stomped EHOME. K with a roaming/jungle Magnus.
EHOME, EHOME.Keen, Newbee.Boss, Newbee.Young will all have another shot at regionals, starting tomorrow with the second session of open qualifiers.
