In a full period of changing rosters, MPGL SEA Championship Season 8 has almost come to an end even though not all the teams officially announced their final line-up.

With all the lately commotion, Fnatic managed to officially announce their final five players in whom they will trust for the next period:

 Marc Polo 'Raven' Luis Fausto
Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung
Khoo 'Ohaiyo' Chong Xin
Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho
Nico 'eyyou' Barcelon

Fnatic lost their first series in the upper bracket of the MPGL SEA Championship, against Execration, and will now fight for their own survival in the tournament from the lower bracket. Unfortunately for any team that got knocked down in the losers’ wing, all matches are one game series, which makes it even harder for everyone. For both Fnatic and MVP Phoenix this is the first LAN event and both teams are playing with their new rosters for only four days. We have to remind that thee out of five Fnatic's current players are ex-members of TnC, the team that managed to impress everyone during their road at The International 6, achieving a 7-8 place.

Fnatic`s opponents, MVP Phoenix, even though they finished on sixth place at TI6, released all their players in the reshuffle period so they can be open to every option and possibility. After Noah 'MP' Pyo and Sang-Don 'Forev' Lee left MVP to join Team Secret, the Koreans announced a temporary line-up for MPGL SEA Championship:

Kim 'QO ' Seon-yeob
Kim 'Febby'  Yong-min
Kim 'Dubu' Doo-young
Kim 'Velo' Tae-sung
Lee 'Reisen' Jun-yeong

Both Fnatic and MVP Phoenix were directly invited to MPGL SEA Championship #8 and they were regarded as main favorites for the grand finals. However, both lost their opening series and will now face each other Sunday, 11th of September at 08:00 CEST in a best of one elimination match.
