As the second Nanyang Championship is rapidlyapproaching, Evil Geniuses are forced to withdraw from the competition.
Evil Geniuses announed that they were forced to forfeit their invitation to the NanYang season 2 Championship due to Visa problems. The efforts of the tournament organizers to help out the American squad were in vain due to the fact that Syed 'SumaiL' Hassan's visa application was rejected three times.
As a result of not being able to play with their mid lanner, Evil Geniuses have decided to decline their invitation to the tournament. The Nanyang organizers confirmed that the boys in blue will not be playing at this event and will be replaced by the runner-up team that will win in the ongoing Chinese qualifier.
The second season of the Nanyang Championship is set to take place in Shanghai, between the 6th - 10th of July 2016 with a $200,000 base prize pool.
