Fourth season of Sudamerican Master Dota 2 tournament will kick off on 22nd of February.
The prestigious South-American tournament returns its fourth season where 16 teams will battle for a share at the $4,000 prize pool. 10 teams were directly invited to the tournament and will be joined by six more squads coming from the open qualifiers.
The format of the tournament features two phases, beginning with a group stage followed by a double elimination bracket. For the group stage, the 16 attending teams are divided into four groups of four, with a bo2 round robin. The top two teams of each group will advance to the double elimination bracket, with all the matches being best-of-three, and the grand finals being best-of-five.

With a total of 48 games just for the group stage, there will be plenty of games for the Dota 2 community to watch and enjoy. This can be the opportunity for the new six teams of South-American or just another arena for the titans in the region to show their supremacy. Be sure not to miss it out!
The total of $4,000 prize pool up for grabs is distributed as follows:
1st place: $2,400
2nd place: $1,040
3rd place: $560
