After LGD knocked Newbee down to the lower bracket, they managed to win two series in a row in the lower bracket defeating CDEC.A and iG Vitality.

In the series between Newbee and CDEC.A, Newbee fell short early in game one with an experimental Troll Warlord draft. But in game two and three, they came back strong with two signature picks for Hao - Juggernaut and Gyrocopter. Although CDEC.A has had a strong run in the qualifiers, they failed to pull through in this decisive game against the titans of the past. 

The series against iG.V was much smoother for Newbee, as they took down the new iG youth squad with a clean 2:0. Hao's performance continued to impress as he dominated game two with 19 kills on Gyrocopter. 

With Newbee and LGD qualified to the Shanghai Major, the China qualifier has concluded. LGD being one of the top teams in the world managed to qualify with ease. With the addition of ChuaN, Newbee also showed signs of revival as they were able to fight through the lower bracket. It is also refreshing to see new youth teams in China such as iG.V and CDEC.A performing so well in their games. Although they fell short at the end, their performance in the upcoming tournaments should be highly anticipated.
