I-League will host a single elimination bracket each for Europe, America and South East Asia where the winner of each region qualify for the main event. Teams and brackets are now public, read below to find out who gets to play.

Since The International in July, two seasons of i-League have finished and now a third one is just around the corner. The tournament boasts a $300,000 base prize pool which is massive, almost too massive to be true. Last season it was certainly too massive to be true where they announced an estimated end prize pool based on the first season's final purse. This was however communicated as the actual prize pool, which caused distrust towards the organisation. Time will tell how it plays out this season but due to history as well as the schedule of the event, the biggest Western names have declined their qualifier slots.

Neverthless, with or without those teams, there will be qualifiers and it could be an opportunity for other teams to possibly attend a LAN event and go up against the Chinese juggernauts. LGD, being the champion of the former season, is the only team directly invited. Joining them will be four other Chinese teams who will be decided through the qualifiers being a group stage starting April 20.

America, April 6 - 12

America lines up the usual suspects, so to speak, with the exception of Tongfu.NA who will get to debut in the context of a major event. Also Team Tinker will go as Americans this time despite the roster consisting of a European majority. Rising teams Void Boys and Wheel will be looking to make their way through the buzz by qualifying and they do have a decent shot, judging by their past performances. Ehug who recently had to withdraw from Major All Stars after qualifying are likely hungry for another go but the team have been struggling to pull results lately. Not Today, eHug, compLexity and Rift will also be participating despite their the clouding uncertainty around the specific rosters.

Europe, April 6 - 12

In the absence of Secret, Cloud9, NiP, Empire and HellRaisers, the spotlight instead falls on teams such as PowerRangers, Polar and Alliance who have attended several LAN events in the past and looking to find their path again. The recently emerged Burden United produced excellent results in Dota 2 Champions League already even though they had a rough opening in the ESL One qualifers. They might be a strong contender here but it is still too early to properly categorize the team. Dedicated teams such as Vega, London Conspiracy, 4 Anchors and Moscow Five have gather a few minor achievements but are still unfortunately mostly considered names in a bracket. In a merciless single elimination bracket such as this one though, this could be the opening for one of them.

South East Asia, April 13 - 19

EHOME Malaysia is a team with lots of expectations placed upon them. After the disappointing results in EHOME, Mushi and Ohaiyo are back in South East Asia with a Malaysian super team. Judging by their short list of played matches so far, it looks promising. MVP.Phoenix attended the last i-League and is another strong contender for the South East Asian slot this time around too. They were recently edged out just at the finishing line by Rave in both The Summit and MLG Pro League. With Rave not playing this qualifiers though, MVP.phoenix have a better shot at returning to i-League. Trust and Can't Say Wips have also been shaping up their performances lately and are both looking promising. Arcanys recently went through roster changes but still have time to find their pace before the qualifier starts, same goes for Invasion and Mineski. 5eva is on paper a favourite but the team has been coming up short at various occasions recently.
