Cloud 9 will join Team Secret, Vici Gaming, First Departure, NotToday, and returning champions Evil Geniuses in attending the Summit 2 LAN Finals in Los Angeles to compete for $290,000+ in prize pool!
The competition was hard fought between several teams, but Cloud9's‘Murica photoshops and helping hands from Team Secret’s Johan “BigDaddyN0tail” Sundstein and EG Offlaner Saahil “Aladdin” Arora seemed to propel C9 past the Pudge draft promises and Dendi redemption streams of second-place finishers Na’Vi.
The Summit is a tournament that thrives off of player personalities.Therefore, it was our goal to bring in teams that weren’t only competitively successful, but also fan favorites. We could think of no better way to determine the last spot at the Summit 2 than to leave it in the hands of fans. Beyond the Summit would like to thank everyone who got into the spirit of the redemption vote and made it a memorable experience for both organizations and fans.
