Malaysian-team Titan topped the group stage of the $6,100~ Good Play Gaming tournament, and they will be taking part in the first game of the four-team, double-elimination playoffs tonight. They will be facing off against fourth seed MiTH.Trust at 15:00 CEST (21:00 SGT).

Good Play gaming is now heading on into the playoffs. Almost three weeks have been consumed from the best-of-two round-robin, wherein eight teams competed for four playoff slots. Finishing first and second respectively are the The International 4-bound Malaysian teams in Titan and Arrow Gaming.

Coming up third is surprisingly yet another Malaysian team in Invasion eSports. They finished with a clear lead among those following, and they bested many teams that were pre-tournament favorites.

Another surprise is the last team who was able to enter the playoffs, Thai-team MiTH.Trust. Despite having roster changes, they were able to finish with seven points - good enough for a tied fourth place with Singaporean-team Scythe Gaming. Plagued with roster problems themselves, the Singaporean team lost last night on the best-of-one tiebreaker.

Scythe is just one of the teams who failed to make the playoffs. TI4 SEA qualifier runner-up MVP.Phoenix was eliminated after finishing with a 4-10 standing, while Filipino team Mineski put up a dismal 0-14 showing in this tournament

The double-elimination playoffs will start tonight, with first seed Titan going up against fourth seed MiTH.Trust at 15:00 CEST (21:00 SGT). All games in the playoffs will be best-of-three, except for the grand finals which will be best-of-five.
