NAR rolls over SNA to earn the second spot at The Summit LAN finals

The North American Rejects avenge their previous defeat by sweeping the Sneaky Nyx Assassins. This win earned them the second and final American spot for the finals of The Summit, taking place in Los Angeles this June.
The ongoing tournament The Summit was announced back in March, and is one of several international competitions taking place in 2014. It features both an online and LAN phase, with the participants fighting over a $50,000 prize pool (with a crowd funding boost from the DotaTV ticket). The tournament includes three regional qualifiers for Europe, Asia and America, with the Asian and American qualifiers including two stages - the pre-qualifiers and the main qualifiers (for Europe it is just one stage).
The American Qualifiers for The Summit are at an end. The dust has settled with EG and The North American Rejects emerging victorious, each earning a ticket to compete in the finals of The Summit in Los Angeles this June. Both teams swept the Sneaky Nyx Assassins 3-0 in their respective best-of-five series to secure their spot. After suffering an early loss to SNA, The North American Rejects had to battle through Team Liquid in the losers bracket to reach their rematch with SNA and eventually their advancement to the finals.

North American Rejects vs Sneaky Nyx Assassins
Game One
The first game saw interesting drafts from both teams. A Sneyking on Morphling solo-mid and Korok on a safelane Puck. NAR made lots of rotations making use of Clockwerk and Wisp combination. SNA came out with a very heavy pushing line up in Lycan, Chen, Death Prophet and Dark Seer, along with their name sake hero Nyx Assassin. SNA came out fast and aggressive pushing on towers and punishing any over extension by NAR. Aggression proved to be the undoing of SNA as they accrued too many deaths in the early game by diving towers. NAR capitalized on their chances taking the early kill lead, only growing stronger from then onward. NAR utilized pick offs to their advantage only pushing when SNA was a man down. The combination of Sneyking Morphling and Korok Puck, both of whom never died during the 38 minute game, carried NAR through game one to an early lead in the series.
Game Two
The second match of the series saw an unusual draft from both teams. SNA picked up a dual lane mid Spectre, Windranger combo and a safelane Magnus. NAR answered with their own dual lane mid in the form of a Bane and Naga duo. NAR drafted an early game lineup against SNA's late game lineup. NAR came out of the gates at full steam picking up first blood before the horn. Korok's carry Brewmaster and Brax's roaming Nyx Assassin kept SNA underfarmed and underleveled, holding them to only one kill for 15 minutes and only 4 kills for the entirety of the 20 minute game. NAR breezed to an easy 2-0 lead with all of the momentum heading into Game 3.
Game Three
The third game draft saw a more standard draft from both teams, each line up with early game power and late game potential. NAR came out strong securing a first blood, again, before the horn. Both teams played very aggressively, constantly trading blows for the majority of the game's duration. The game was a flurry of teamfights with SNA coming out worse for wear after every engagement. NAR matched fire with fire by constantly assaulting a bleeding SNA, quickly after an initiation. NAR's kill lead grew to 24-9 before SNA called GG; NAR had not taken a single tier-three tower, ending the game and claiming the ticket to Los Angeles playoffs.
