Dota Pit tournament playoffs under way, 16 teams competing for $3000

The Dota Pit tournament groupstage concluded earlier this week, and the top-two teams of each group advanced to the playoffs. The first playoff round is already over, and the quarter finals are scheduled to begin today, May 4th.
The participants of the AMD DotA Pit tournament have almost reached the end of their long journey, as the playoffs are currently under way. The top-two teams of the groupstage received a precious spot in the round-of-16, which concluded last week (the match between nExt! and Goomba will take place on Monday, May 5th). Thus, eight squads will now attempt to qualify for the semi-finals.
The challengers of the semi finals will battle against their respective opponents in best-of-three matches, and the winners will move to the best-of-five grand final. There will also be a consolation final between the two runner-ups for the third place.
1st - $1500
2nd - $1000
3rd - $500
More information about the tournament can be found on the official website.
