With two victories in the best-of-three matches against Fluffy Bears and Alliance, Cloud9 managed to earn a spot in the grand finals of DH Bucharest. They will find out their opponent after today's final match, the Lower Bracket final between Alliance and Fluffy Bears.

The Dreamhack Bucharest tournament is currently taking place in Romania, with two days full of juicy eSports. Alliance, Cloud9 and Fnatic deployed their full rosters in the battle for the $25,000. The fourth participant is Fluffy Bears, a team comprised of two Na'Vi members and three Romanian stand-in players. Five matches were scheduled for the first day of the event (April 26th) while the grand final will take place tomorrow. (April 27th).

Upper Bracket

The day started with Fluffy Bears going against Cloud9, with the latter grabbing two comfortable victories using the Ember Spirit for SingSing in both matches. Fnatic also deployed the Ember Spirit to snatch a game of Alliance, but the Swedes emerged victorious from the remaining two games of the best-of-three series.

Upper Bracket Final : Cloud9 vs Alliance [Winner : Cloud9]

Winning their matches in Round One, Cloud9 and Alliance crossed their swords in the Winners Bracket final for a spot in the DH Bucharest grand final.

The opening game began with an early advantage for the Swedes, but their greedy farm-dependent line-up prevented a proper transition to the mid game. The game deciding teamfight took place as the teams were dueling for the third Roshan. Cloud9 managed to kill five heroes, securing an obscene gold and experience advantage. The Swedes were unable to turn the tides and eventually called the 'GG'.

For the second game, Alliance unleashed their notorious early pushing strategy, enhanced with s4's Magnus. Despite the presence of Treant Protector in C9's roster, their squishy core heroes were just to weak to survive against the nukes and multi-hero Reverse Polarities of the Swedes. All the outer towers fell relatively quick, and C9 got trapped inside the Radiant base. With Shadow Fiend and Drow Ranger being unable to farm, Alliance's steady push easily finished the job.

Seeing the success of Magnus during the second game, Alliance chose to deploy the hero once again for s4. However, this time C9 seemed well prepared for the overgrown rhino. Using four massive ultimates (Naga, Luna, Enigma, Puck), EternalEnvy's boys won several consecutive teamfights, continuously reducing Loda's farming space. With the arrival of the Ethereal Blade, Alliance attempted to stage a comeback, but it was already too late. The towers and barracks seemed to melt against Luna's high physical damage, and the Morphling was just not strong enough yet to defend his team.

Lower Bracket

Being defeated in the upper bracket, Fluffy Bears and Fnatic had to face each other to remain alive in the battle for the $25,000. Using Treant Protector in both games, the Bears were able to counter Fnatic's early aggressiveness, with both Dendi and XBOCT being able to find enough farming space to have the required impact in the game. Fnatic even deployed a surprisingly strong solo Ogre Magi for H4nn1 during the second game, but they were still unable to control the core heroes of the Fluffy Bears.

With their victory, Fluffy Bears advanced to the second round of the Lower Bracket. Their next obstacle will be Alliance, with the best-of-three match scheduled to take place at 19:00 CET. The victor of the Lower Bracket finals will secure the second grand final spot, and will proceed to play against Cloud9 tomorrow.
