The eight-month long RGN League has finally concluded. First Departure took the crown as they defeated Mineski on the thrilling finals with the score of 3-2.

Both teams advanced into the finals after gritty 2-1 wins against their respective semifinal opponents. Mineski took down MiTH.Trust, while First Departure won against Orange. Both of the winning teams were seeded lower than their opponent.

First Departure, who lost their carry Meracle to RisingStars and eventually to Titan, found a permanent replacement in Chibix. Their first game was a disaster, however, forcing them to call GG just 21 minutes into the game. Mineski was able to take the first game with their Anti-Mage literally being nowhere around any skirmish (finished the game with 0-0-0 KDA).

Mineski lost the next two games, putting just FD one win away from the championship. The former performed well on the fourth game, and they very carefully played out their lead in-game to even up the series. The Filipino team tried something different on the last game, which is a solo Venomancer, but it didn't do enough to rattle FD. Despite the stronger teamfight of Mineski (OD, Seer, Veno, ES) and all those four heroes having blink daggers, they still cannot get the initiation that they want and eventually lost the game.

Despite its very lengthy tournament format, RGN league boasts a very big prize pool relative on the other SEA online tournaments. First Departure won $7987~ (10,000 SGD) on their first place finish. Mineski received a decent $2397~ (3,000 SGD), while the third place orange earned $1597~ (2,000 SGD).
