Despite giving away the Upper Bracket advantage with a default loss, Impervious takes the following two games to seal the deal and takes home first place of Netolic Pro League #3 East.

Match report

Game 1:

Impervious has an one-game advantage coming from the Upper Bracket.

Game 2:

Mineski takes a default win because three players from Impervious were late.

Game 3:

Mineski went for an off-lane Elder Titan that they have been running throughout the tournament and a solo-mid Alchemist, while Impervious picked up the Abaddon - Chen. The latter duo provided Impervious with a lot of survivability especially against the tanky Dragon Knight and slippery Weaver already in the team.

Things didn't go well for Mineski as it took them a while to figure out where the Batrider was and kill him (he was hiding in the bottom treeline), plus their Alchemist went down twice in the mid-lane due to Chen's rotation from the jungle. A hectic teamfight broke out on the mid-lane and went on for nearly two minutes, resulting in a killscore lead of 8-2 for Impervious. Impervious hammered the nail in the coffin a few minutes later when they wiped Mineski on the bottom lane without the use of Chen's Hand of God. 15 minutes into the game, there was nothing Mineski could do to prevent Impervious from storming into their base with the massive advantage in gold and level. The Filipino squad called the "gg" and Impervious moved one step closer to taking first place.

Game 4:

Impervious went for a balance line-up that allow them to gank and push while still having late game potential. On the other hand, Mineski drafted a mixed line-up with a fair amount of AoE from supports and a solid lock-down from Beastmaster.

Similar to game three, Impervious claimed first blood on Mineski's solo mid with rotation from the two supports. However, Jay managed to bounce back pretty nicely with a timely Primal Roar to survive a 2-man gank and kill off the QoP. Skirmishes took place here and there as both teams looked to gain map control, but no significant teamfight broke out. Realizing they're behind, Mineski went for Roshan after picking off the QoP and took it uncontested. With the Aegis, the Filipino boys took a big fight around the 22-minute mark, taking the middle tier-2 tower and forcing out a buyback from Impervious. However, Julz got picked off shortly after without the Aegis and Mineski lost 4 despite a great ulti combo from Dark Seer and Crystal Maiden.

Another fight broke out in the Dire jungle with Mineski coming out on top, killing two carries on the Radiant side while keeping the Weaver alive. The second Roshan also went to Mineski and they immediately marched down mid lane but wasted the Aegis due to some hesitation. Then, Impervious' Alchemist got picked off right outside of his base, but Impervious kept their raxes intact with some good split-pushing from the bear which forced Mineski to fall back. A few minutes later, the Singaporeans initiated the fight of their lives, killing off the Weaver who didn't have buyback and took down all of Mineski's barracks in one swoop. Both teams clowned around a little bit before officially calling the "gg", giving Impervious 1st place and Mineski 2nd.
