ESWC European and American Qualifiers Announced

ESWC partnered with Dailymotion to host this year's regional qualifiers as the best of Western DotA compete for four spots at the ESWC Grand Finals in Paris, France.  

Although both are hosted by DailyMotion, there will be two separate qualifiers for each region. A total of 24 teams will compete in the Europe main qualifier, including teams who made it through prequalifiers back in August and directly invited teams.

The remaining eight spots for the Europe main qualifier will be determined via an open qualifier which will take place October 5 and 6. Teams can start registering on September 29.

As for America, the main qualifier will feature eight teams, including  Evil Geniuses (invited),  Team Dignitas (invited),  Rattlesnake.int (invited but unconfirmed), and Arise Gaming. There will also be an open qualifier beginning September 27 to determine four other teams in the main qualifier.

• 22:00 EDT - Round 4 (Round of 32, if more than 128 teams sign up)

The four qualifying teams (two from each region) will join two-time defending champion Natus Vincere, among others, in the ESWC Grand Final at Paris Expo, France on October 30 for $25,000 in total prize money. In addition, the top qualifying team from each region will get their entire trip sponsored by DailyMotion.
