Virtus.Pro, winner bracket finalist, will take on Mousesports, loser bracket finalist, in the grand final of the Corsair Gaming Summer Tournament at 19:00 CEST today.
While Virtus.Pro arrived at the grand final without much of a hassle, going 6-0 in the playoffs, Mousesports dropped their first match against Fnatic and had to fight their way through the loser bracket to get to the finals. Filled with momentum from their deciding revenge match against Fnatic yesterday, Mousesports is sure to put on a show against the Russians tonight.
Below is a short presentation of the match. Also check out the new highlight videos for Group A, Group B and Group C. More of those to come, stay tuned. Meanwhile check out all VODs here and the hardware giveaway here.

Both Mousesports and Virtus.Pro have encountered each other numerous times in the past months with both sides exchanging wins. In the grand final of CGST, Virtus.Pro will definitely have a "rest" advantage considering they went through to the finals from the winner bracket while Mousesports played two best-of-three yesterday, including the longest game in the history of competitive Dota 2. The match-up between both these teams will be decided by the rotation from the solo mid heroes and how well the carries are farming. Applying extra pressure and applying offensive trilane may definitely help. Virtus.pro is a team hard to ban out and shut down in the drafting phase but Mousesports is a team known for very cunning drafts, baiting opponents into thinking the game will go a certain direction before changing it up with their last pick.
Mousesports will most likely run their dual core strategy with both Black and Qoqjva farming up towards the late-game, while Virtus.pro usually prefer ending the game earlier. Mouz will most likely pick smart lanes to make sure the dual core strategy hold up while VP will emphasize more on the mid lane becoming the secondary carry rather than the offlaner. Athough KSi often plays the Nature's Prophet, a hero designed to scale into semi-carry no matter how you play it. During the lap of the possible five games, there is bound to be some interesting ideas and tactics.
