It was made official that the DotA 2 EU/NA regional qualifiers for the prestigious E-Sports World Cup will be hosted and casted exclusively by The Premier League.

During the EU/NA regional qualifying stage, a total of 16 teams will compete for two spots in the Grand Event. Among the 16 participating teams, eight will be invited while the other eight will have to earn it through a pre-qualifing round.
The two qualifying teams from the EU/NA region will then join 14 others in the Grand Event. These 14 teams will be determined via national qualifiers and an Asia/Oceanic regional qualifier.

The 2013 edition of the annual ESWC Grand Event will once again be held in Paris, France, from October 31st to November 3rd. This marks the third consecutive year in which DotA 2 is featured in the Grand Event. Natus Vincere took gold medal in the last two such occasions and is only natural to receive a direct invite this year.
