The interview was conducted by Eric 'ReiNNNN' Khor on the 8th of June.

Hello Bone7, thanks for accepting our interview. How are you doing?

I'm okay. I'm just scrimming with my team but took a short break for this interview.

I think many people don't really know who you are yet. Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you started gaming?

I started playing DotA 6 years ago, mostly with Romanian teams with players like ComeWithMe, ppasarel, Ro-Coco, Ly0n and so on. I think my first atempt at making a team was with Lacoste before he joined Avid. I played in every league except for DotA-Pride, had some success in some of them placing pretty high in two seasons. My team before I took a break was sTurtle with ppasarel and zizou. Then, I started playing Dota 2 on January because I got an okay PC and I have been playing with Kaipi for about four months now.

What is Kaipi's training regime? Is there a fixed schedule?

We practice about 4 hours a day but we want to up it to 6 hours per day at least.

Are you still studying or perhaps working?

I’m still studying, finishing in September.

Considering the number of tournaments Kaipi is joining, how do you balance out playing and studying at the same time?

i don't really study that much. It's 70% Dota, 20% Study, 10% free time.

You mentioned earlier that your practice about 4 hours a day but Chinese teams actually practice close to 12 hours a day. I believe teams like Alliance as well. Do you think you and your team will ever be able to reach their level by training aobut a third the time?

I think we have a chance of getting there with 6-7 hours a day.

Kaipi is a very high profile team, some say from the way you guys play and some of them due to public relation from certain players. How do you feel playing in such a loved and hated team?

I'm not sure what to make of it, our public image, but playing in Kaipi is great. All my teammates are good, smart, extremely dedicated and hardworking. I have very high hopes that we will be a good team in the near future.

One of the biggest public outrage is probably when Kaipi wasn't invited to The International 3 qualifiers. Do you think you guys would have gone far or possibly win that?

I think there was a pretty solid chance that we would qualify for TI.

Well, I'm sorry about that but anyway let's talk more about the current events. You played in the Corsair Cup recently and your team came out on top in Group B. What do you think are the strong points and weak points of your team?

I think when we played against Fnatic, we managed to pick in a way that would make the game really easy for us and weird for them. That's why we won game 2 and 3. The first game was the other way around, we picked something we are really uncomfortable with and we lost. I don't think we have real obvious strong and weak points. It's mostly based on the picks and the first 6 minutes of the game, that usually decides the outcome of the game for us.

Bone7 at Dreamhack Summer 2013

Quantic told us that they will pull out of the tournament just a few hours before the tournament due to the injury Sockshka sustained. Do you think that Quantic would probably give your team trouble in that group since you guys were suppose to go up against them first

The games against Quantic are really weird, we could've definitely lost if they outpicked us.

Is Goblak's drafting ability really as strong as it is hyped?

I have no idea how they pick, who has most of the ideas. I really can't judge without listening to them when they play. It's easy to assume Goblak is this guy who will think of everything and make a really weird op strat but since I didn't listen to them, I can't really say.

You were invited to play with Mousesports during Dreamhack Summer. Is that your first time getting into the main event? What do you think of Mousesports as a team? How is it different from your own team?

That was the first time I went out of my country, it is my first offline event and also the first time I flew (what a crazy experience, people who take it for granted are crazy). Mousesports is a really good team. I think Fata is an amazing player, syndereN is a good captain, Black is a solid carry and pas always have moments where he shines. Qojqva is also a really good player and is constantly trying to improve. On top of that, he is also young.  I think Mouz is a really good team. I still like Kaipi more, the way we talk and think about the game, I think it's slightly more complete.

Kaipi is currently an unsponsored team? Have there been any talks with sponsors?

We've received some offers but they don't suit our needs. Therefore, we are still not sponsored.

Alright thank you bone for the interview. Would you like to give a last shoutout?

Alright, shotuout to ppasarel, Marv, Stompa, my team and everyone who supports us!
