Nirvana. My heads into the Semi-Finals of CM Storm after a clean sweep against Mineski last night. They'll soon be facing the winners of Nirvana.int/EDGE.
One of the most anticipated match up of CM Storm has just finished. The game between two Asian powerhouses, Mineski and Nirvana.my proved to be a great match indeed. GosuGamers has provided a short summary of both games below.

In game one, the picks are fairly standard with Mineski choosing Dragon Knight to use their famous bottle + crow DK, while Nirvana picked up their core heroes in Pandaren Brewmaster, Necrolyte and Doom Bringer. During the early stages of the game, all seemed lost for Nirvana.my as Mineski was leading with hero kills and tower kills. rhoM's Dragon Knight at mid proved to be very potent with the use of his famous bottle + crow build. DK easily harassed Nirvana's Doom Bringer sending him back to base multiple times and once rhoM got his Blink Dagger up, no one can escape his wrath.
Towards mid game, Nirvana was still down by hero kills, not to mention losing most of their towers to Mineski while they themselves were unable to secure even a tier one tower. But it all changed when Nirvana's carries farmed up their items. With Doom and Panda each getting with their Aghanims, coupled with Necrolyte's Guinsoo they were able to dispatch Mineski's heroes easily.
The Coup de Grace for Mineski came when they were facing Mushi with an overfarmed Necrolyte. Even with five heroes spamming spells on him, Mushi was still able to absorb their attacks while his teammates slowly picked them off. In the end, Nirvana.my was able to clinch victory thanks to Mushi's Necrolyte,

In game two, Mineski went for a more Asian like pick, using the three carry and two support line up with PotM, Phantom Lancer and Alchemist as their carries, while Nirvana went for a Gank strat. Interesting thing to note in game two is that Net changed roles playing a ganking hero, Tiny rather than his usual support role which his teammate, XtiNcT played.
Nirvana going with a fast push and ganking strategy had to ensure that they could end the game before Phantom Lancer and Alchemist gets too farmed. Nirvana had early game advantage in terms of heroes and they had to build on that advantage to take the game. A lone Medusa may not be strong enough to deal with PotM and Phantom Lancer if they both have Diffusal Blade. Mineski only hopes is to drag the game, get the farm needed by their carry heroes and they definitely have a high chance in winning this game.
Tiny was very lucky during the game as he was able to pick up multiple invisible runes which led to some easy kills for him. Net with his early Dagger was then able to roam around the map, helping his teammates in fights or acting as the initiator for wars. Tiny also went with an unorthodox item build in the form of Dagon. However it was proven that it can be potent, taking down heroes such as Maiden and Engima with ease. Mineski called GG when Medusa was able to solo push their lanes with items such as Linkens, Skadi and Manta under 40 minutes.
