Fans and rival teams alike will be happy to hear that the ex-nfinity squad has now signed with Unique-Esports.
The previous Unique.DotA team disbanded in December 2009, even after being placed second at Dreamhack Winter. One can remember the rapid rate at which this team was rising skillwise as well as the level of respect that they were gaining from other opposition teams. Their disbandment came as a shock to the DotA community.
This new team is comprised of prodominantly German players that have played under the tags of dmZ, Team Thermaltake and Wicked Esports, boasting a wide array of experience and skill.
Below is a statement from Jordan Goodman, Managing Director of Unique-Esports:
"Our goal for this team is to have a dominating presence in the DotA online scene, with the intent to attend DreamHack Summer 2010. We are glad that these players have the determination, professionalism and passion to develop into one of the best DotA teams in the community. Be on the lookout for this team!"
