The Malaysian powerhouse, Cybertime, is now down to two players as XtiNcT and xiGz have chosen to leave Cybertime.
After SMM09 concluded, the Malaysian DotA scene has undergone some major changes. Players transferring to other teams left right and center. The newest change is to Cybertime. Cybertime's XtiNcT and xiGz have decided to leave Cybertime. While it was reported that ChuaN have joined Cybertime, XtiNcT however confirmed that ChuaN had never signed any contract with Cybertime and never actually joined them.
Now, XtiNcT, xiGz along with ChuaN have decided to form a new team, with the addition of two more players in the works. With regards to the forming of this new team, GosuGamers caught up with XtiNcT for an exclusive interview. Continue reading to hear what he has to say.
Hi there, as there are some, who do not know who you are, do you mind introducing yourself?
-Hello, I am XtiNcT from Cybertime. I am also the former leader of DNA-SK.
Who are the members of your current team ?
-Well, currently our team is made up of me, xiGz and ChuaN. We are still finding the last 2 players. After the recent SMM, ChuaN went back to KL and I invited him to join our team and he was willing to join us. Besides we also needed a change of play-style
In SMM Grand Final, your team were unable to get top 3. How do you feel about this and what do you think about your team's achievement?
-I feel that we performed badly in this tournament because of the play-style that we've used in the tournament wasn't suitable for us and we couldn't adapt to it. I think we would have went much further in the SMM if we used our usual play-style. You can see this from the heroes we picked during SMM .
Is it official that you have left Cybertime?
-Yeah, it is confirmed that me and xiGz left Cybertime. ChuaN has never signed any contract with Cybertime, so he will be sticking with me and xiGz.
What are the reasons that caused you leave the team? Is it because your team wasn't good enough for you?
-It's not that the team wasn't good enough for me, it's because the sponsor couldn't provide much for us. Furthermore, we only promise Cybertime to play SMM with them.
Do you think that Cybertime can perform well in the future after you left the team? Why?
-I think that they will do better without us as they would have found 3 better players to replace us.
So, any big plans for the near future?
-We will find our final 2 players for our team and start training soon. We would like to win some competitions.
