Today the official opening of the registrations for the Razer EDC amateur tournament was announced, a huge rush from the european teams is expected.
The EDC Amateur Tournament will be structured similarly to the previous tournament held by Garena, EEDC. This tournament will consist of eight regional qualifiers with four teams qualifying from each region. Therefore there will be 32 teams competing in the playoffs, with the winners being invited to the next season of the league, as well as being named Best European Rising Star.
The registration for the Razer EDC: Amateur Tournament is open from 9th November till 21st November. All teams are allowed to sign-up that have at least 3 European players and as long as at least 3 Europeans play in each of their EDC games. This tournament doesn't have any team limit for registrations, it is open to as many teams as are interested. So it is surely going to be a great chance for any aspiring DotA team to test their mettle against the others.
