A few weeks ago the clan EVO was one of the most interesting clans to follow with players such as PlaymatE and Synderen. It didn't work out quite that well though. Somewhere in the mist of replacements of both players and sponsors a legend was lost. We decided to find out more about what really happened and what his future plans are.

Howdy, papaya? Let's start with a short introduction of who you are and a little bit of your history in DotA, shall we?

- I started out playing on bnet as everyone does I guess, then I moved on to Russian leagues because I met up with STFU_PLZ (tom). We were playing in all Russian leagues and then I started scrimming with say_plz for a while and I played some pridegames (mym pride) with them as well. Then I've been playing in all inhouse leagues, mostly IHCS when it was alive I guess. Then I joined up with Team XS led by xoznoznu and that became VAE and after a while that died. Then I got a question months later if I wanted to play with the newly created team R (reality) with playmate, zon, victory, dement, xoynoznu and that team became EVO which became enro. That is where my history comes to an end.

Moving over to the recent events involving your previous clan. How was the mood in EVO? Give us your thoughts about your team in general.

- The mood in the team was quite good, we were all good friends and it was okay, aslong as we won will say. If we lost there was a minor flamewar some times but I don't think I'ts anything special, overall we were in peace most of the time and my thoughts about the team are mostly good even though there were some problems, also since we were just 4 (while playmate was on vacation) we became pretty inactive. Besides the few times we found a standin it was usually games in inhouse leagues which of course caused these problems too. I myself had a lot of stuff going on at this time so the activity problem was caused by me mostly when playmate came back will say. We tried to get some members for the team but those standins we used didn't fit in.


You had a swift change of sponsor and that is where you got lost. What happened here?

- Well, I was part of EnRo as well for a while, but then when lacoste and black was brought in and I still had a lacking activity, the team decided to let me go and I dont blame them really.

How do you feel about the outcome?

- Mm, it turned out okay I guess. I liked being part of a top team and playing good games but it took too much of my time back then so I think this outcome is alright atm atleast :)


What do you spend your time on online at this very day?

- Mm, I spend my time online reading about football or playing dota mostly.

Do you have any future plans? Do you have the will to play in a top-ranked competitive clan?

- Well future plans, dota related I guess then dreamhack winter is the thing I have planned by now. Let's see, if I get a chance to play in a top team with nice players I'll probably take it.


If there isn't anything else you wish to say on the matter I thought we could move over to a couple of random questions.

What are your thoughts on competitive DotA and what future do you think it holds?

- My thoughts about competitive dota... I think that it's getting back again after having some trouble when SK, mouz and MYM all dropped their teams. Now theres some light again with MYM returning, fnatic and teams overall willing to sponsor atleast trips to several events, its' good. Hopefully it will grow even more which I think it will, now with VALVE getting into it as well.


Do you agree on the statement that 'to bring a more professional attitude to the scene the players themselves must step up'?

- Well yeah, I mean theres always gonna be retards, no matter what game you play so you can't eliminate them totally, but the so called "pro teams" gotta stay proffesional because they work as rolemodels in the dota world :)

- OKHO-Gaming & say_plz. My favourite player will always be lightofheaven.

- Blight.

- We had this discussion many times about all my fakenicking fans, but none of these are at my level. But if I would have to choose one I'd go with unbananalemon even thought they're both terrible copies.

- European dota, Asian is sooo boring my eyes bleed when I watch it.

- Fat ronaldo ofc.

IHCS or IDEC?
- IHCS, best league ever "))"

Beasley or RMx?

- Hey that question wasn't random at all, but okey tits.

- Favourite hero... hmm Puck I guess then.

Who will win SMM?
- I dunno which teams will attend but I'll go with MYM.

Your best DotA moment ever?
- My best dota moment ever was when I won a 1x1 on a local cafe, I was naga he was bone, his first item was gem. He died then left the whole cafe. Nah but seriously, it was probably when we beat ks.int with EVO.

What do you have to say about 6.64? Does anything need further nerfs?
- Dunno, didn't play it that much to give a comment about it, I don't like changes a lot even though these ones are going in the right direction.
