desRow launched a feature - Getting your team to high level - in which every two weeks he will feature different players, asking questions related to strategy and etc.
This week, desRow featured five players: Kebap, Maelk, Biscaya, Kuroky and mO. All of them answered the same questionary, showing differents points of view about the same subject. (Note: the quotations aren't about the same questions)
Kebap
I think that ever since the new version 6.61 came out, you can play nearly everything from push to gank to 2 roaming heroes to turtle.
Everything is up to the teams to figure out what fits them the best.
Maelk
For the most part, we decide which style of play and what kind of strategy we want to go with by seeing the first few picks. Like, getting Zeus or Clockwork encourages ganking, Chen makes for double sololanes with bot push-potential or cool heroes in a solo lane. By the picks done later in the drafting phase we decide what heroes we need to overcome the enemies (such as if we have enough lategame)
Biscaya
I would say its a collective effort. Pushing, defending, ganking... those are all determined by watching the map. We all have the capabilities to see and decide for ourselves. Finally, execution is done by having good communication or what some people might call "chemistry"
KuroKy
Right now, there is hardly any playstyle in dota, it's all about putting ricers on a lane and having all your teammates ready to tp and support around you. My favorite style is turtling of course and i hate ganking.
mO
There are way too many playstyles in dota, so wont even get into that. My fav would be the hero that just keeps attracting ganks and keeps dying, forcing you to buy a ward everytime you have 200 gold while ur team farms. You should be very familiar with that playstyle. My least favorte style is sitting in lane ricing, im not asian. Neither is johnnyutah but he seems to love rice
