Here follows an interview with Marcus "Zip999" Betten. While we (interviewers) need to beg for small statements from the most famous players, Zip999 fully agreed on answering some questions. If everyone had his or her own disposition when being interviewed, we would surely have more interviews everyday.

01. Hello Zip999, many people don't know who you are and what you do. Could you introduce yourself to them?

GFC|Zip999: Hello GosuGamers, my name is Marcus 'Zip999' Betten and I am Team Manager of GFC.DotA and GFC.DPP. Besides that, I am Manager of GFC-Gaming and at least I work in the editorial staff of the ESL.

02. As you said, you are the manager of two teams, GFC.DotA and GFC.DPP. Let's talk about GFC.DotA first, tell us everything about it!

GFC|Zip999: Perhaps some of the users here at gosugamers.net already heard this name. We had very nice matches in the past, for example in ESL Premierships and ESL Major Series Qualifier. So we went into the Top 10 of the GosuRanking. In the last month we made a few line up changes and now, after much training, we try to get on this high level again. Our next aim is to stay in the Battle of Nordic Tournament as one of the best eight teams so that we get qualified for the next Battle of Nordic.

03. Now talking about GFC.DPP. We know you recently formed this team, why did you form it and who are they?

GFC|Zip999: I didn't form this team. We (GFC-Gaming) have been looking for a good german DotA team to compete in german leagues like the ESL Bundesliga. I scouted a few teams, but this one has impressed me and so i decided to add them to our Teams at GFC-Gaming. They were known as team "Pure Hard DotA" and they have a few strong players with much potential.

04. The whole DotA community is waiting for the new v6.60 map. Do you think it will have a big impact to the near future, or how the professional players will deal with it? Will they have surprises with the other teams or not?

GFC|Zip999: If everything works that way icefrog explained, like new items, new heroes and ofc all the remakes then i think many teams have to set up new tactics with perhaps other heroes and so on. I think the new version will bring a bit "fresh air" into the scene.

05. What do you expect from the near future from both teams?

GFC|Zip999: I hope for many success ofc ^^ As I already said our aim for GFC.DotA is to compete with the best teams in the Battle of Nordic Tournament and to reach Top 3 in the Playoffs of the ESL Premierships. Our aim for GFC.DPP is to reach the Playoffs of the 2. ESL Bundesliga to go through the 1. ESL Bundesliga, because we want to compete with the best teams in Germany.

06. What are your goals for the future on your career?

GFC|Zip999: My career doesn't matter. I want to give my teams the best support I can give to them.

07. What do you think about the actual DotA scene around the world? New teams in the future will fight to be in the top or the actual teams will remain there?

GFC|Zip999: I hope for a few new really good teams in the future ^^ At the moment DotA is dominated by Ravens, KS.int and EG.DotA. Three really good teams in my opinion but if there are no changes at the top, I think it gets a bit boring if they have to play against each other nearly every week. I think it would be better if we have about 10 teams in the world which play on that level like the three teams I mentioned.

08. Would you like to say anything else, any shoutouts?

GFC|Zip999: First of all I want to wish Nox and Kemosabe all the best, after they went inactive. The second is that I greet all my members and all who know me and the third is that I want to thank all our opponents, who didn't flame or whine ^^
