Interview with the KOTH-Winner BioXar.BlowMe + Replaypack

Hello Lukas, before we start, could you please introduce yourself to the Dotarians who don’t know you yet.
Hey there, my name is Lukas Egger, but you probably only know me under the name "BlowME" (if you know me at all that is ^^). I've been playing DotA for like 3 years together with my reallife mate hexOr and after a lot of clan changes in the past few months we now play for BioXaR.
Could you tell me who else plays for bioXar and what are their roles?
eQuiNOX: Leader, strategist, picker, allrounder
EDE: Russian engager, Warlock, Shaker,
hexOr: Carry, Chinese ricer, Pudge/Potm
Schug: Waterboy, micro-intensive heroes (Chen, Encha, Meepo)
Stryke: Carry, the *Igeteverylasthitandcarrythen* dude
scream: semi carry, "owned bitch", mainly QOP,
slapor: inactive, fat, end of story
BlowME: Allrounder, Interviewboy, main ganker
Darkweaver: Allrounder, favourite bulgarian DotA player, "can't move, lag, pause!", sniper, jungle
So what is your history as a DotA player?
As I've already mentioned I've been playing DotA for about 3 years now, mainly together with my reallife mate hexOr. At the beginning I didn't like DotA that much, but after hexOr harassed me every day I started to play it more frequently and began to like it. After some months we joined the clan b123, with which we played at dota-league for like 2 years.
After we failed to win the playoffs to divison2, hexor decided to join xGen, and after some weeks I followed him there. From that point on we've been participating in various tournaments and leagues and are now owning stuff together with our mates :P.
So you have 8 active players. Who decides the lineup for the matches? I mean this are 3 reserves.
Well since Weaver and Slapor are mostly inactive, it is usually reduced to 7 players. Then the 5 players which are there will play (there is usually always one player who doesn't have time or has to do sth. for school etc.).
A lot of people saw your performance at the KOTH #4 against srs. How do you practise such strategies and who is the mastermind behind it?
Well for practice: Once we know the basic idea of a new strat, we try to execute it as often as possible in scrims. At first we try if it is viable against unknown teams and if it suceeds we proceed to play it against more well known teams, in this case we used it for example against gvis or IGG. For the mastermind question: Definetely eQuiNOX, about every 3-4 weeks he joins vent and is like "hey dudes, I got a cool new strat, go let's try it.”
Do you have any other secret strategy for us to share? ;o)

What do you think about the current version? (V_6.57b) Is it really balanced? What should be changed it upcoming versions?
I think the current version is overall pretty well balanced, although there are some minor aspects that should be changed. Some things I can think of right now would be to nerf the cooldown on tidebringer, just too strong earlygame imo.
Also the combo Tinker+BKB should be changed somehow, since a hero that can teleport anywhere while being magic-immune is not fair. Mb forbid BKB on Tinker like Dagger on Pudge/Venge or give the BKB some mana costs I guess. Oh and one more thing: Sentries need a slight buff to be useful once again.

Great improvement to picking in every aspect.
Where will we see you playing? Any future tournaments or leagues, where you will participate
ESL Major Series, ESL Bundesliga, F4F, Dota-league DIV1, LAN at Hannover, MYM Prime Defending and maybe some others, I don't know about all of them.
What can you say about the German DotA community?
With teams like wicked, aX and BioXaR I think that the German community is on the rise and that it will have some sucess, like winning the KotH series. However, compared to other nations, the German community has not quite reached this international standard, if you ask me and that's why top players like KuroKy and H4nn1 play in international teams.
Any shoutouts to your fans or the DotA community?
Shoutouts to Schug's sis, my former clan b123, my reallife mates playing DotA and everyone else who knows me! (and to EDE's gay fanboy Walnuss-)
