The Slovakian team Storm Gaming Clan, SGC, disbanded a long time ago. The clan was very good in its time. hey participated in MYMs Prime defending #10 and came third. They got permission to join the Prime Defending League and meet the other professional teams! But when they played in PDL, SGC abruptely disbanded. The players moved on to different teams and the clan was almost forgotten in the competitive dota scene. However, yesterday the players decided to revive this forgotten clan once again.
I caught one of the the players from Storm Gaming Clan, SGC`nEKro and asked him some questions.
Can you tell me why you disbanded?
-Since we won 3rd place at Prime Defending 10 everyone expected we would continue in such shape without scrimms. There were problems with time zone cause we were still playing with Jason and Aidar and we were unable to improve our chemistry. And at the end Xali came up with the idea of joining NecroRaisers which caused the end.
But only Tulex decided to rejoin the team again after his new career in NecroRaisers.
So who are the new guys in the team?
-Tulex's brother Warlog and Idef!x are from eSuba and kEEper is quite unknown and young but very talented.
Why did you decide to revive the team again?
-Well we had an intense talk 3 days ago about creating such team and eventually we made it.
So what are your new goals for the future?
-Basically scrim alot at the start and find out some nice strats in 6.56 so we can compete with the top teams.
Do you think you can achieve the same goals as you did with the originally SGC?
-We`ll see I believe with this lineup we can be even better but time will tell. All the teams out there are 10x times better than 4 months ago. When you look at Met. With the old SGC we managed to beat them many times but now they`ve become a really strong and fearfull team.
Do you think you will be able to attend LAN events such as Dreamhack, Asus, ESWC etc?
-I guess it is too early to say things like that but who knows.
One last question, which team do you fear the most
-We have never beat mouz to be honest. Not a single match or scrim and now they are even better with the new lineup. But I believe every team can surprise.

As two of your players have left the clan, where does that leave you?
-I think it was "calling of SGC" it is something magical for slovakia players, dont know why. Maybe Warlog want to play with his brother. And so there was a need of restructuralization of our team, idefix also joined SGC.
Will you stay as a clan or will you disband?
-No as I said, there was a big "rooster storm". Also Iacek stopped playing cometetive dota, because lack of motivation. And also Radge will not play with us, because of some internal problem. So we stayed only me,Angel and OFFak so we added the best players from second best czech team IUC. And we will try to keep our possitions as we made with Warlog and idefix in spite of it was a great shock for us.
