Following in the footsteps of Faceit, ESEA have announced that they will hold a matchmaking league every month in which the players can earn themselves a whopping $20,000 in total.?

The players will be ranked according to the following categories: A, B, C, D and S, in which the players will be able to compete for said money. The players from the ESL Pro League NA have already been invited to join the competition. Interestingly, the league has decided to also allow for Valve-banned players such as the ex-iBUYPOWER squad to tune in.

It is however important to note that there will be possibilities to rank up or down according to one's performance. The two highest-ranked players will be able to access Rank S and will be subjected to revision to decide whether they will be allowed to stay. This new system is being applied to all regions, except for the Rank S competition which is currently restricted to the U.S., but it was already announced to be expanding to European soil fairly soon.
