Fnatic win IEM Katowice 2016
The Swedish team took their sixth straight title this weekend as they managed to defeat Luminosity Gaming 3:0 in the grand finals of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2016. Although the final map score of this best-of-five seemed like a crushing defeat for the Brazilians, LG fought each map tooth and nail, taking two of them to overtimes. Vici Gaming announced earlier this year that they had begun to search for a Asian CS:GO team to represent them; this week the legendary organization revealed that they have signed the Chinese team from CyberZen, one of the most successful teams in the region.
Razer Rising Stars announced
E-Frag is back with yet another tournament this week as they have announced they will be running the $64,000 new Razer Rising Stars League. Read a piece of their full reveal below:

With Dreamhack's first Masters event just a little more than a month out, the Sweden-based organization has revealed this week the invited teams that will compete for two of the spots at Malmö. The eight invites will join eight teams that will come from an earlier 512-team open online qualifier, which is set to begin on March 12th. See the full list of invites here.
MLG Columbus team list completed
With the final day of the MLG Columbus closed qualifier coming to a close early this week, another eight teams have been appended to the invitees that comprise the full team lineup for MLG Columbus, and that list is now complete. North America had a extremely strong showing at the qualifier, managing to snag four of the eight available event slots.
