After the relatively huge success the Swedish lineup had (with two different players) at the PGL EU Minor Championship, they have now been acquired by Epsilon eSports.

Cringe Gods (or short CG) have not been around in the scene for a long time. They started as a Faceit pug team that went on to qualify for the EU Minor Championship and even beat HellRaisers in their group stages. Unfortunately they fell short to PENTA Esports in the consolidation final. In order to improve their ingame communication, they decided to part ways with their non-Swedish players, forming a full-Swedish lineup.

And this lineup has now been acquired by Epsilon Esports, a brand that previously had made itself known when its French squad banned after a match-fixing scandal. In the meantime they featured a Spanish and yet another French roster, but were recently left vacant as the Spanish team decided to walk off.

This team looks really promising to at least for the moment serve as a hot competitor in the tier-two tournaments and leagues and as such has already been qualified for the CEVO Gfinity Pro League S9 EU.

The now Epsilon roster looks as follows:
William “draken” Sundin
 Andreas “moken” Karlsson
 Fredrik “REZ” Sterner
 Fredrik “freddieb” Buö
 Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun
 Christian "chrille" Lindberg (coach)
