Amid the excitement of the first matchs of the Intel Extreme Masters: Katowice group stage, a smaller online tournament will be taking place on Friday featuring eight teams lesser known teams fighting for a piece of the $5,000 prize pot. The event will begin with the group stage, where the eight teams will be split across group A and B. Each group will be played out through a double elimiation bracket, with the two winning teams advancing to the playoffs. The competing teams are as follows:
