The group stage of Intel Extreme Masters Taipei has concluded with top four teams now moving on to the playoffs.

Throughout the last two days we were able to see some of the best Asian and Australian teams fighting for their spot at the Closed MLG Columbus qualifier, as well as spot at IEM: Katowice 2016. After a very clean first day, the second day saw some serious measures being taken against one of the participants.

TyLoo, the Chinese representative, has been disqualified from the tournament, after the tournament organizers revealed that one of its players had a Valve's anti-cheat ban on record. Unfortunately the Chinese team couldn't continue their run in this tournament and group B saw only three teams fighting for the top two spots leading to the playoffs.

The tournament resumes tonight with the semi-final matches, while the grand finals are on schedule for tomorrow.
