IEM Taipei, which is also serving as an Asian Minor Championship, is all set to start today.

Eight teams have gathered at Intel Extreme Masters: Taipei to fight for the lion's share of $50,000 and a spot at the MLG Columbus Closed Qualifier. The format of this tournament is set to double elimination group stage into single elimination playoffs.

The winner of IEM Taipei will earn a spot at the MLG Columbus Closed Qualifier and IEM: Katowice 2016, while the runner up will qualify only for the MLG Columbus Closed Qualifier.
