Successful League of Legends organization Gambit Gaming has expanded its eSports profile into CS:GO with the acquistion of the former Hellraisers roster.

Gambit Gaming announced their first expansion into CS:GO today, signing the mixed roster that formerly played under the Hellraisers banner. Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov and Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev lead the list of familiar CIS names. The group of five have been playing together under the HS.GG banner through the end of 2015.

The new team's first task will be navigating the StarLadder Minor Championship: CIS that is to take place later this month, January 22-24th. Securing a victory in this event will net the winning team a spot at the offline qualifier for the first Major of 2016, MLG Columbus.

In a statement on the Gambit Gaming website, the organization said the following of the move:

“We plan to take part in all premier tournaments in 2016 and our aim is to become a top 10 team by the end of this year. Due to a high competitive level in the CS:GO scene we require not only a solid roster, but also a good infrastructure. At the moment we are talking to potential candidates to assume a coaching position. Our players intend to practice online and bootcamp at their gaming house in Saint Petersburg prior to LAN tournaments.”
