The final two matches of the evening rounded out the group finals matchs by determining who would would get their chance to redeem themselves in the lower bracket finals. First up was Team Liquid versus North American up-and-comers Conquest, which turned out to be a long string of unfortunate round losses for the latter. Although Conquest managed to take the first map, de_inferno, with a 16;12 win, the rest of the series was a disaster; even though they managed to win five of the six total pistol rounds, they lost the ensuing round almost every time, leading to large losses on next to maps, de_cache 7:16 and de_overpass 6:16. Liquid will now face Fnatic tommorow in the lower bracket finals.

Group B saw another American matchup, this time being the Brazilian titans Luminosity Gaming takin on Counter Logic Gaming. The first map, de_mirage, started off well enough with CLG picking up the CT side pistol, but the match quickly spiraled out of control for them as Luminosity managed to take control of the half 8:7, and only gave up one more on their own CT side for a 16:8 win. de_overpass was much closer than the previous map, but the Brazilians still managed to win it handily with a 16:12 scoreline. LG will have to defeat Na'Vi however, if they hope to leave the groups of this event.
