Dreamhack Open Leipzig will open the 2016 circuit with a bang as they have revealed the event will feature $100,000 in prizes.
This year has seen the last of Dreamhack's CS:GO tournaments, but 2016 is just around the corner with a whole slew of new tournaments to look foward to, the first being Dreamhack Open Leipzig which is slated to take place near the end of January. Dreamhack has now revealed that Liepzig will feature a hefty $100,000 prize pool for the eight teams in attendence.
DH Liepzig will follow the format previous Dreamhack events have: first starting with a group stage with all teams being split into two groups, where each group will see the two top placing teams to move on to the single elimination playoff stage. All matches in the Leipzig playoffs will be best-of-three, while only some of the later group stage matches will be played in a series.
