Dreamhack Cluj-Napoca: Titan emerge victorious over Ninjas in Pyjamas
The Frenchmen have secured the second spot in Group C of Cluj-Napoca after defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas with a 16-13 score.

The map for this best of one was de_cobblestone. During the first half we saw the Frenchmen crush their Swedish opponents. Eight rounds in a row Titan managed to defend the bombsites, showing their incredible holding skills on the CT side. On the 9th round the Swedes managed to secure a single round on a pistol buy, in contrast to their losing streak. The 13th round was also taken by NiP, a situation where the Swedes finally decided to change up their strategy and hit the A site. NiP showed an extremely aggressive T side, which didn’t seem at all effective against the juggernaut that is Titan. They kept hitting the B site that was effectively held by the Frenchmen and were punished for it, resulting in a 13-2 score for the first half of the map.
The second half saw NiP regain their composure and Titan make questionable buys. Five rounds in a row were secured by the Swedes. During the 22nd round we saw Adam ‘’friberg’’ Friberg score a triple kill against Titan on an eco-round, after two teammates went down to the Frenchmen; this play was instrumental in boosting NiP’s confidence that followed through to the upcoming rounds. Unfortunately the Swedes weren’t able to close out the match and finally the score ended at a 16-13 in favour of Titan.
