With the last invite handed over to Ninjas in Pyjamas, ESL has now finalized IEM San Jose participants list.
We have previously reported about the first four invited teams for IEM San Jose: Team Solomid, Team EnVyUs, Cloud9 and Luminosity Gaming. Following them were Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere who have also received the invite for this event. The last two spots were still pending, but with the today's announcement ESL has revealed the last invited team, Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The Swedish team is a seventh team to round up a list of invited teams, while the eighth spot will go to the winner of the iBUYPOWER Invitational, a $100,000 LAN event which is being held only a week before IEM San Jose in California. Having in mind that both Cloud9 and Luminosity Gaming are taking part at iBUYPOWER Invitational, there is no doubt that the rest of North American teams will strive to earn the last spot for IEM San Jose.
