We are back with the weekly ongoing tournaments review and we will take a closer look at the events featuring the North American teams.

ESL ESEA Pro League - $500,000

The inaugural season of ESL ESEA Pro League will be moving on to the next stage as the online round robin phase has come to an end. The North American teams were battling it out for the top four spots which lead to the LAN finals and the names of the qualified teams are now known.

Cloud9 is sovereignly waving from the top with the only three lost maps, which means that they will be going into the LAN finals as the top seeded team from NA division. They are being followed by the only team which is not coming from NA soil, Keyd Stars. The Brazilians performed well, finishing the group stage with only 5 loses which is only two more than the first placed team. The third seed went to Luminosity Gaming who didn't have a problem consodilating their units after they underwent the roster changes. And finally, Counter Logic Gaming left Team Liquid short for the spot at the LAN finals, as they both had tied score and the factor which decided who will advance was the round difference. CLG had the better round difference and therefore Liquid was left without the spot at the finals.

CEVO Season 7 - $135,000

CEVO Season 7 is also moving to the next stage as the online play has concluded. The top three North American teams will be merged with the top three European teams at the LAN finals where they will be fighting for a share of $135,000.

Same as in the ESL ESEA Pro League, Cloud9 showed once again that they are absolute rulers of the NA scene at this moment. The guys in white and blue finished at the first spot with an impressive 10-2-0 score. This means that they didn't lost a single match in the whole online league. The second place is reserved for Team Liquid who had 8-1-3 score which brought them only one point more than the third place team, Luminosity Gaming. The fight for the third place was tight until the end. Tempo Storm was also in the game for this place, but they were left short after Liquid took a three consecutive wins in the last three matches.
