The second semi finals match was actually a re-match of the opening game of this tournament. In that game we saw a great comeback made by Gplay where they took down nV 16-14. However, the French team was super warmed up today to take a revenge and prove their status of the favourites.

The first map of this best-of-three series was de_dust2. nV quickly took full control of it in their hands. The French players were just spread all over the map, winning all the duels and leaving no space to Gplay. The Bulgarian team couldn't even get any economy going and they were down to 0-12 when they actually decided to go for the time-out. From that moment on, they managed to win a three consecutive rounds and to finish the first half with 3-12 scoreline. But, the second half didn't bring any major changes. We saw nV being strong on the CT side as well, closing this game with 16-4.

The next map of this match was played on de_inferno, where nV started off very well. However, in the middle of the first half Gplay managed to consolidate their units and to actually make a comeback for 8-7 in their favor. The second half was very back and forth with nV coming out on the top with a great performance by shox. In the crucial round at the 11-11 scoreline, with only the pistol, the French player managed to find a triple kill and to win that round for his team. Later on, nV just maintained the lead for the final 16-11.

The grand finals between Natus Vincere and Team EnVyUs will feature a best-of-five series and are scheduled to start at 18.00 CEST.
