Fnatic confirmed their dominant performance throughout the whole event by winning the grand finals against Natus Vincere 2-0.

DreamHack Summer 2015 was played this past weekend with the finals concluding today. The eight teams were first placed into two groups where the top two sides of each moved on to the single elimination bracket.

In the playoffs, first to come on the stage were the two home crowd teams, Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Fnatic was coming to this match as the first place team of group A, while NiP finished in second place of group B. This duel didn't bring any real upset as Fnatic just simply polished off their opponents on the first map with a score of 16-6. The interesting thing is that the first map, de_dust2, was actually picked by Ninjas in Pyjamas. However, the second map was closer as we saw a 16-14 scoreline.

In the second semi finals match, Natus Vincere took on Titan. The Ukranian team was really dominant throughout the group stage, defeating Kinguin and NiP to claim the first spot. On the other hand, Titan had to win in the deciding match against FlipSid3 to get themselves into the playoffs as the second place team of group A. Eventually, the French team was the one who got this match opened in great fashion. They won an amazing 12 rounds on T side of de_cobblestone which later on netted them a 16-11 win. The second map started off very well for Titan once again, but Na'Vi made a nice comeback, claiming 6 rounds on T side of de_overpass, which was more than enough for them to close this map with a 16-11 score. On the final map, de_inferno, we once again saw a great start by Titan, who had 7 rounds on T side. However, once they moved to the more favored CT side they were unable to score a single round. Na'Vi was just more dominant in every aspect of the game and in the end they won 16-7.

In the grand finals we saw a very interesting map veto where Na'Vi went for de_mirage, while Fnatic picked de_train. De_inferno was left as the last map. On the first map, Fnatic opened really well. They had full control of Na'Vi's economy and the Ukranian team couldn't attain more than 4 rounds on the CT side. Once they switched, both teams just exchanged 5 rounds which was enough for Fnatic to take the first map of this duel with a 16-9 scoreline. In the second map we saw a much better Na'Vi. They were rolling really well on the T side, but Fnatic once again managed to make a comeback and to actually take an 8-7 lead at halftime. However, Na'Vi struck back by winning the second pistol round. Fnatic had to wait for the first buy round to get their first round win on the T side. That is exactly when they managed to crush Na'Vi's economy once more. Later on it was really hard for Na'Vi to stop the Swedes, especially because they were led by KRiMZ and olofmeister who were both on fire. The final score of this map was 16-14 in favor of your DreamHack Summer champions, Fnatic.
