CEVO have announced that they will be hosting the online part of Canadian ESWC qualifier on June 22-26.
Canada will act as a host for ESWC 2015 which will be held in Montreal on July 9-12. However, today CEVO have announced that they will be hosting the online part of the Canadian qualifier for this event which will be held on June 22-26.
The Canadian ESWC qualifier will be divided into two parts. The online part will be open to everyone who signs through the CEVO website, while only the top two teams from the online part will move on to the LAN stage where they will have to meet ACE Gaming and Tempo Storm, the two invited teams. Only the winner will secure the place for the main event and also paid accommodation during the event.
The LAN part of the Canadian qualifier will commence on July 5th and will be held during the Montreal COMICCON at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal. COMICCON is a pop-culture fan convention that showcases artists and products from entertainment genres, including gaming in all its forms. The expected number of visitors for 2015 is over 50,000 (51,000 in 2014).
