We are back with the weekly ongoing tournaments review and we will take a closer look at the events featuring the North American teams.
ESL ESEA Pro League - $500,000
After not so great start for Luminosity Gaming, the team which have recently undergone significant roster changes, is finally awakened. ptr and co. are currently sitting on an impressive eight win streak where the three victories were made this week in ESL ESEA League. However, the standings are still topped by Cloud9 who have played the most matches in the league. They are being followed by Keyd Stars and Nihilum.
At the bottom of the bracket we can see that the image wasn't really changed. mouseSpaz, Method and ACE Gaming are still stuck there, sharing the same score of 2-12. However, Team Liquid and Counter Logic Gaming are also closing their gap with the leading trio and once they equalize the number of the played matches with the rest of the teams we might be able to see a different picture of the standings.
CEVO Season 7 - $135,000
Luminosity gaming have managed to retake the first place from Counter Logic Gaming and they are now sitting with the 5-5-0 score, while CLG has 5-2-2. However, Luminosity have so far played the most matchs, a total of ten, and it's yet to be seen how will everything turn out for them once the other favourites play their matches.
The rest of the ladder shows a very close battle where Cloud9 is leading the pack with the 14 points. ACE Gaming is sitting at the bottom with only one draw match, but the bigger surprise is to see eLevate being unable to score their first victory yet.
