
The GameAgents League reaches the playoffs stage where only the four teams are left to fight for the grand prize of $3,000.
The GameAgents League started on March 6th featuring eight teams fighting for the lion's share of $4,500. After the GSL group stage Team Orbit and Gamers2 took the top two seeds of group A, while Team Dignitas and CPH Wolves topped group B. Those four teams are now going to venture into the double elimination playoffs stage.
The first semi finals match will bring us a Swedish-Danish duel between Team Orbit and CPH Wolves. Both teams were struggling a bit with the recent performance. However, they did actually meet each other during the Copenhagen Games which was played last weekend. Wolves came out on the top of this match with 16-11 on de_overpass. So, it will be really interesting to see which team can prevail here and leave a result slump behind them. Orbit vs CPH Wolves is scheduled to start today at 18.00 CET.
The following semi finals match will feature Team Dignitas and Gamers2. The situation here is similiar for both teams. Dignitas and Gamers2 have showed a very good performance in the recent period. The both teams have scored 7 wins from ten played games. They have received 2 losses and one draw match which was played between them two. However, we could see both teams in action during CPH Games taking on each other during the playoffs, where Dignitas took a very convincing win of 16-3 on de_mirage. This match will commence today, starting at 21.00 CET.
The winners of initial matches will move on to the upper bracket finals, while the losers will continue their trip throug the lower bracket. In the end, grand finals will feature a mutliple best-of-three series. Where the team coming from the upper bracket will have an advantage of Bo3 series, which means that they will need just 1x Bo3 to take the title, while the team from lower bracket will have to win 2x Bo3 in order to secure the grand prize.
