The Day 1 of SLTV StarSeries XII is live and the first match was played between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Titan where the Swedes came out on the top of it with the 2-0 win.

In the opening match of the StarSeries XII LAN finals, Ninjas in Pyjamas took on Titan in a very interesting best-of-three match. After the veto process was done the three remaining maps were de_cache, de_dust2 and de_mirage. The French team went for de_cache pick, while the Swedes favored de_dust2 over de_mirage.

The initial map of this duel was played on de_cache where we could see absolutely everything what CS:GO can offer. NiP finished first half with 9-6 lead, but Titan didn't mind it much as they were moving on to more favored CT side. However, NiP quickly made it to 15-10 and it was already looking like the Swedes are going to close this map early on. But, led by great apEX and RpK, Titan pulled it off a round by round and the score was back to the tie, 15-15. We had to watch a triple overtime where in the end NiP came out on the top claiming the first map of this series.

Dust2 was opened in a great fashion for Titan where they had a big 8-1 lead over at T side. But, this didn't discourage the great Swedes as they started climbing up on the score table back to 6-9. Titan still had lead, but they were moving on to CT side which could be a bit tricky for them in case they don't build up an early economy. That's exactly what NiP denied for them as they picked up the first 3 rounds and although Titan won the fourth one they still managed to keep only one gun out of it which pushed them back to use a four famases and in the end NiP just snowballed to 15 rounds once again. The final score was 16-11.
