Fnatic walks through group A and secures themselves a spot in playoofs, FlipSid3 got eliminated from the tournament.

Round 2 of group A was opened with the elimination match between VOX EMINOR and FlipSid3 Tactics. Both teams suffered a heavy loses in the opening matches where they combined took 5 rounds in total. So, both of them were looking to show a much better performance in this match as it was the last chance to survive the elimination. The map pick resulted in de_cache where the Australian team kicked off at CT side. They had a full control of this match as the first half was finished 13-2 and the Ukrainian team was close to elimination. The second pistol round brought a heartbreaking ending where in the end VOX came out on the top of it and later on closed this match in their favor with 16-2.

The winners match saw Fnatic and Natus Vincere getting to play on de_cobblestone. This is already a second time to see this map being played toda in Katowice. Fnatic looked much more prepared and confident coming to this map, however the great factor in their early lead was olofmeister's great performance. The Swedish player scored an ace in the pistol round and took this game under Fnatic's hand where Na'Vi just could't set up any defense to stop Swedish attacks. In the end it was 13-2 for Fnatic as they were moving to CT side. Na'Vi took a few more rounds on T side as Fnatic was mostly taking a risk by forcing a buy instead of ecoing but in the end they took a win of 16-7 and they are in top eight.
